Review of Freehold borough, New Jersey

Freehold Borough - A Great Place to live. I ought
Star Rating - 1/8/2010
Karen's is an old review and is suspect to begin with. It implies that Freehold Borough is somehow less desirable than Freehold Township. Karen is speaking in vague generalities (she offers no facts to support her claims). She even attempts to turn Freehold's positives into weakenesses. It is, in fact, Freehold Borough's diversity and ethnic flavor that give the town a unique character all its own...and - this - in a very positive way.

The sense of Freehold Borough's Neighborhood Pride runs very deep and if you are looking for a "Mayberry RFD" type of town, in which there is a strong sense of community and volunteerism, Freehold Borough is the place to live. The schools are doing very well in test scores and instruction, by the way.
